Hey Sunil,
thanks a lot. I give a little help when I can. Writing these things is good for me too. Really good to hear that about the style.. it is my aim exactly.

Hi Matthew. I'm sure your brain is safe sound no matter what my little tips say :P Thank you for the reply.

If only thing you need is making a video from image series, Windows Movie Maker does alright. But if you like you can take it as an opportunity to add truly useful tools to your pipeline. Most more advanced editing tools offer lots of options to tweak the video, like speeding up or slowing down, effects, compositing with several layers, transitions, colour correction, and a ton more.

There lots of softwares for editing and I've used only a few of them.. Many find Premiere easy to use and I've that lately it has become quite versatile too. Vegas likewise is simple and offers a lot for the price - the non-pro versions of it are quite capable and affordable. I currently use Vegas Pro(ver.8), but am always keeping an eye out for other possibilities. Final Cut rocks in the Apple-world. And then there are the many free tools. Virtual Dub is well liked. New addition to free tools is Lightworks, a Hollywood favourite that has now gone open source. But beware it is still a beta-version.

I hope that helped a bit. Search around, I'm sure you will find lots of good options.

I've just discovered that I have no brain because I use Modo to render to video...(see tip one) it does explains why the quality is sheit.
But I do have a question on which program/software you use for stitching those images into a video.
And could Windows movie maker be a good follow upper for an amateur like me?

Cheers,

Thanks Luciano and thank you for the additional tip. That’s a good one and simple enough that it would work in other less effects-specialized video software as well, like in Vegas.

Great tips, being an amateur myself, the only tip I could provide that you missed is the Ambient Occlusion for shadows, rendering it and blending it as "multiply" in After Effects would do the trick

thanks
